About Us

Est. 2024

Lulu’s Kitchen was founded in 2024 by Lourdes Palmar and Rafael Soto, a husband-and-wife team from Maracaibo, Zulia, Venezuela. Inspired by the flavors they grew up with, they opened Lulu’s Kitchen to share the warmth, generosity, and vibrant food culture of their homeland with the Texas community. Their menu celebrates authentic Venezuelan comfort food, from arepas and patacones to cachapas, pastelitos, and other favorites from their home state of Zulia. Every dish reflects the traditions of home and the joy of bringing people together around good food. At Lulu’s Kitchen, Lourdes and Rafael invite every guest to experience a little piece of Venezuela in the heart of Texas.
